Even if 2006 has just began I've already got stuff in the pipeline that I think will be great. I've been contracted by Hyper Island to run my Specialization Modules for the forth year in a row and I think it will be great.
I'm also working on an e-commerce system using PHP and MySQL with a product editor built with Flash and AS2.0 which I think will turn out great.
Not to forget that I've finally had the chance to test my website on Windows giving me the opportunity to fix all the bugs and launch it.

2005Projects:
SnatchIt Widget, Chiquita Game, SnatchIt Application, Jusum - Mini portfolio, Baby-jusum bounceAbout:
At the start of 2005 I started realizing that I couldn't work at Hyper Island much longer. Mostly because of the urge of developing getting stronger. I also felt that my goal at Hyper Island was achieved when I changed the parts of the course that I wanted to change so I decided to resign and move on.
At the same time as all this was happening I started working with software development in the Mac OS X environment using Cocoa and Objective-C. I've never been a fan of traditional software development but when I started looking at the tools used for developing Mac OS applications I was thrilled and I knew that I had to make some time to start playing around with it to a greater extent.

2004Projects:
Vodafone Meters, Old Jaij.net, Jusum - Portfolio, Linker, Experience TechnologyAbout:
During 2004 I started getting more frustrated by the fact that I didn't get to produce to the extent I wanted to. I decided to start my own company to be able to take on clients on my free time. Hyper Island didn't have any objections since it was in their interest that I stayed up to date with working with clients and development in general. Since I had an income from Hyper Island I was able to be picky with what projects I accepted and ended up mostly doing my own projects rather than getting paid for a project I didn't enjoy working with.
I was also this year I started specializing in OOP using AS2.0 and standardized XHTML.

2003Projects:
N/AAbout:
At the end of 2002 I was contacted by Hyper Island who wanted me to start working for them and the timing couldn't be better. I was frustrated working in the industry for many different reasons. I wanted to effectively change the industry and knew that I couldn't do that working as a developer. I accepted their offer and at the start of 2003 I started working for Hyper Island as a project manager. My main responsibility was to help all the students to gain a general understanding on technical matters and how a developer works or should work. My second responsibility was to give the ones wanting to specialize in technology, and become developers, support and guidance. One of the biggest challenges for me was to become a good project manager after not doing it for many years. From not even owning a calendar to creating budgets, schedules, curriculums, booking lecturers, booking flights etc was an interesting turn for me and it kind changed me for life.

2002Projects:
Universal Music Sweden's Intranet: iPS, Universal Music Sweden's Extranet: ePS, Universal Music Sweden's official websiteAbout:
I spent a lot of my time of 2002 building an intranet and later on an extranet for Universal Music Sweden. This year Famestudios changed direction and started focusing more on events. This meant a new approach to development for me. I started doing public installations with web cams, sms solutions, projectors solutions etc. and that was a great experience for me.

2000Projects:
Vagabond Cards, Peter Jöback, Ericsson Software, Snö, ScriptaAbout:
This was the year I graduated from Hyper Island I started working for a company in Stockholm, being a portal and a publisher, called Spray. I specialized in ASP and MS SQL while being responsible for getting them online. I only worked for Spray approximately 6 months before I decided to join three friends to start up the company to be known as Famestudios being a web agency targeting the entertainment industry. Effectively this meant more Flash for my part since that was something the entertainment industry was requiring at the time. It's also mean, since I was in charge of development, that I could decide in what technical direction we where going to go.

1999Projects:
Intranet for TNT-Magazine, TNT-Magazine(s), AsfaltAbout:
I was approached by ThinkiT in London who where looking for a developer and I started my internship as web developer in start of that 1999. Most of their clients where actually magazines and I was surprised to see that they published all the content, on a weekly basis, manually. At first I was forced to learn Perl to automate that procedure but soon I managed to convince them to install ASP on their server and it didn't take long before I had my first dynamic website up and running. I also built an intranet for TNT Magazine and their 250 employees on my own. After 6 months of working my butt of I was promoted to Production Manager, which was a great experience for me. In August I went back to Hyper Island to finish my course.

1998Projects:
N/AAbout:
This year was a big turning point for me. I applied to Hyper Island with a small website about my self, I know it's corny but it was '98 so I think I can get away with it, and some music that I had created for a theatre play running at the municipal theatre in Malmö and I got accepted. The school completely changed my life with its pedagogy and made me realize that the best way to learn something was by teaching yourself. The general opinion, and the schools opinion for that matter, at that time was that if you wanted to be successful in the industry you should be familiar with every area of digital media production. I spent ever night in front of the computer exploring 3D-software, video-editing software, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Freehand, Macromedia Director you name it. Even though I don't primarily work with any of those applications today I find it very useful to be able to understand them and find use of that knowledge in a lot of the projects I work on. I also started specializing in the areas I was already familiar with such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and added some ActionScript and Lingo on to that.

1997Projects:
N/AAbout:
This was the year that I graduated from upper secondary school and even if it had been a great time I was happy it was over. I started working as a baker(?) and later that year I applied to a course at the Malmö University called "International Migration and Ethnic Relations". This is where I realized that the traditional way of teaching and learning wasn't my cup of tea. The traditional school didn't encourage anyone take their own initiatives, it got the terms "knowledge" and "facts" totally mixed up and I didn't feel like studying the old fashioned way by cramming in all the information in a book and then forget most of it. That's when I discovered Hyper Island - School of new media design and I instantly knew it was the place I was meant to attend to.

1996Projects:
N/AAbout:
This year I kicked it up notch and did a couple of "real" websites such as a website for a play running at the municipal theatre at the time. I also discovered the world of databases, even if I hadn't discovered the possibility to combine it with web development just yet, and Macro programming.

1995Projects:
N/AAbout:
This was the year I discovered the Internet, I know I was a late bloomer, and it didn't take long before the urge to get under the hood to start creating my own interfaces for the World Wide Web. It didn't look good. In fact it looked awful but applying the "learning by doing" methodology to my experience I tried and did everything that was technically possible at the time and I still think that was, and still is, the best way to learn.

1994Projects:
N/AAbout:
Started upper secondary school in Malmö in Sweden. The program chose was for specializing in theater and drama which might sound like a strange choice but even today I'm grateful for making that choice all those years ago since it was something that made me the person I am today being able to adopt to any given situation and overcoming my stage fright. It was also this year I unexpectedly picked up programming again. I applied for an additional course "basic programming", being Pascal, and everything that I learned 7 years ago fell in to place in a matter of days. It all made complete sense to me and to tell you the truth I loved it. But I was aware that programming was going to became such a big part of my future as it turned out to be.

I was put in evening class starting to learn programming from the ground up. Even if those classes didn't get me to start programming on my spare time, mostly due to lack of adequate hardware at home and the predominantly need to goof around most of my spare time like most kids do, it was great foundation for me for when I got back in to programming a couple of years later.

1985Projects:

I got my first computer being a Commodore 64. I was seven years old and I was obsessed with playing video games and at that time the C64 was the obvious choice if you wanted a big selection of games to choose from. I started getting curious about getting the computer to do things, especially after watching the movie WarGames, so I bought magazines with code in them that I spent hours entering just to see some stupid animation or a sound occur. And none of the code could even trigger the launch of a nuke or anything like that, which was a bit of a disappointment as well. Thinking about it now it was probably a waste of time except for the fact that I realized that I wasn't able to learn it on my own.
